My name is Jamie, and I’m the founder and creator of Wrappable Memories and Ohana Original Crafts.
I began making t-shirt blankets back in 2014, creating keepsakes for myself, friends, and family.
When the world changed in 2020, so did my perspective on these blankets. With graduations, proms, weddings, and so many cherished events being canceled, people began searching for new ways to celebrate life’s milestones. I started working with parents of high school and college graduates to create blankets that captured their students’ entire school journey — a tangible way to wrap themselves in memories of joy and achievement.
As the year went on, we all lost so much more than events — we lost moments, routines, and loved ones. That’s when I discovered my why, and Wrappable Memories was truly born.
Losing someone you love is incredibly hard. Deciding what to do with their belongings can feel almost impossible. When my grandmother passed away in 2010, I watched my mother struggle — torn between keeping everything and letting go. I often think how comforting it would have been to turn some of my grandmother’s favorite clothes into something we could hold onto — something that still felt like her.
That’s the heart behind Wrappable Memories: to make a difficult time just a little bit easier by creating a forever hug from someone you love. Whether it’s a blanket made from their favorite shirts, pajamas, or robes, every stitch is filled with care, meaning, and love.
